your works are simply great Cadvis (wonder to reach such level in one of mine, maybe one day...hope not too far  )
don't know what texture you have used for the asphalt, but I think it's not big enough for that project (can see some sort of tiling) and it's quite too glossy or uniformly glossy (just my opinion).
The other things are simply PERFECT!! :D

Cheers, Paolo

Thanks Guys for your nice comments... thanks.

Paoloverona - you are too nice, I'm not better than you. I'm still trying to get to the level when my art will 'wow' people :)..maybe one day..

I've attached 2nd image - let me know which one is better (lighting) when you get a chance. Still I have to think about better, more realistic grass.. but not today..maybe tomorrow :).

Thanks

for me the better is the first, even if I love images with an "heavy" contrast (like the second render).
The first render looks lot natural as for illumination and for visual impact (the second render enhance the perfection of the vegetation), furthermore the DOF permits not too see little imperfections in the scene:
- the shader of the street lamp, that now looks too plastic
- the grass shader that before looked pleasant
- the transition between the grass and the asphalt that now doesn't look so "natural"

that's all :D ;)

another thing....we can continue say that no one is better then the other...unfortunately the quality of our render speaks for us ;)

Cheers, Paolo

Nice render but I would change this:

- lamp post radius too heavy.
- lamp post material too glossy and misses some grime/dirt
- tiling on concrete too obvious
- tiling on ground texture to obvious
- add 3D grass to the foreground it will add a lot to the image
- change leaf material on birches

:)

Thanks for you comments guys. Will have a look how to implement into the scene what you have said.

I'll post an update when available.

Cheers.

I really love the first you have created but It's impossible to say that this new one is bad ;)
too much uniform grass (don't know if it depends on the color or the shape), I would have added some eras or some flower.

Ciao, Paolo
