does this happen all the time to you? doing a quick test i can not directly confirm this, so i would need a more detailed explanation if possible - thanks!JeffGalloway wrote:Possible bug with v1.0.111.2121

I just noticed it this evening after installing the new version. I have replicated it several times.
hm. actually i can't tell for sure why this might happen. octane only has one single update command to commit whatever whenever changes, the rest is up to the engine. best i can think of is, that there happens something internally, which is captured away since the last update instead letting ds crash, and this subsequently leads to that behavior. so there is a good chance that this will be resolved when these other problems are resolved (changing node types most notably)...JeffGalloway wrote:I just noticed it this evening after installing the new version. Update: adjusting the saturation also triggers a restart.
... or any other usually non destructive setting. must be all behave the same. but it should definitely not be the case, if you create something new, without touching i.e. material settings. if this is still the case, i'd indeed need some step by step directions to reproduce this (as it should be possible to reproduce)...JeffGalloway wrote:Update: adjusting the saturation also triggers a restart.
