Ok my friend recently got the Galaxy GTX 470 and as an Octane user, only one thing that came to my mind...test drive Octane with GTX 470 in his pc
. I used the old beta because the new one doesn't work after the mesh import, although I can open the new one as well. I went to the device manager inside Octane (both beta versions, old and new) and there it shows that the GTX 470 has 112 cores. Shouldn't it say 448 cores? My friend is gonna have a heart attack if his card turns out to be faulty.

Hi,
beta2 does not have support for compute 2.0 devices.
we have released 2.1 RC1 towards our customers that does support fermi chips,
and displays correct device statistics for these cards.
we will provide an updated demo version once the RC has been finalized.
