Hi, I want to do images that merge photography with cgi with integration in photoshop. Theres no need to make any animations but the result should be perfect, integrating the 3d with the 2d, always being hyper realistic.
So octane is perfect for this, the problem is the host program. I know a bit of c4d and just a bit of modo.So i need recommendations to choose which of this 2 apps would fit better my needs. Which of the 2 would better, faster and easier to model,uv, texturing etc....
I know that there is a octane plugin for c4d and none for modo but I suppose that it will come in a short period of time.
Thanks for your help.

i really don't know if there is something similar in modo, but in c4d r14 there is a very powerful system for 3d photomaching. i'm using it a lot in this period and i'm very satisfied.
unfortunately i can't share any render without permission.

No. Theres nothing about that in c4d but... Its a good thing but not "the thing" thatmakes me choose c4d

maybe 3ds max is a better solution overall?

Max 2014 has improved in perspective match, and finally has DX 11 viewport, and the performance is way better with large scenes with lots of lines/splines.
The populate feature seems nice too.
