bad aliasing on hard edges

Is anyone else seeing this? I'm rendering the octane_benchmark scene and even after 4500 samples/px the aliasing on the edges of the cement blocks is REALLY jaggy. I'm running RC1 Win64 with a GTX 480.
Windows 7 64 bit | Intel i5 750 @ 2.66 GHz | 8 GB DDR3 | GeForce GTX 480 1536 MB DDR5 | NVIDIA Driver 197.41
Win 7 x64 & ubuntu | 2x GTX480 | Quad 2.66GHz | 8GB

I followed your suggestions at the link, and after setting TdrLevel to 0, was able to do a nice 4K render, despeckle and downsample in Photoshop, and the resulting image looks fantastic after only 5 minutes of rendering.
