I need to update the plugin to also allow the demo binary... Until then, please create an alias "octane" from the binary "octane_demo". To do that, please click with the right mouse button on the bundle "OctaneRender 1.10 Demo" and select "Show Package Contents". This will open a new finder window, where you then go to Contents -> MacOS. There click with the right mouse button on "octane_demo" and select "Make Alias". Rename the alias to "octane".theexample wrote:hi guys i usually run octane on the machine at work but need to create some scenes out of the office on my rmbp when i go to export form c4d i get this error

Let me know if this doesn't work.

thanks for the help .
i tried it but t didn't work , just said could not launch octane .
i renamed the app to octane instead of making an alias, and it worked but doesn't open when i open octane by itself, so i undid the fiddling copied the contents into a new folder and did the same to it now it works both ways ,
this should keep me going till the new plugin is released .... i check everyday haha
