what is this material in the real world? brushed steel..so =).. usesome fine directional bump and You're good to go =)
there's no way, faking that with something like 'anisotrophy map'..for now bump/normal is an only option =)

thanks for the response; I ended up making a bump map in illustrator to achieve it. worked out great.
