WIP of some molecules that are being developed for solar cells that have similar properties as those in plant photosynthesis.
Converting sunlight to energy the old fashioned way : >)
Pretty soon (well not really) we may be powering our hungry n-vidia cards with the sun... or a pot plant... not that kind : > )
Fog added in post. I am still trying to figure out how to set up a scene that is flexible to use with volumetric fog. When I try using other peoples files for examples I do not achieve the same results. I am sure it is a scale thing... but not much success and this takes a few seconds and gets the point across some perhaps.
Leaf bump a bit strong and flower petal not too good... onward and upward...
As always welcome the crits

Updated version with Volume Fog.
I am hoping with the next official release of Octane the manual will explain how to get more control over the rays.
I'm tweaking values all over the place and still not getting rays busting through the way I want them in the scenes I am trying.

much better peter, you are almost there
in a little scene like this it is really difficult set up the scale, i think
what about cheating with a much bigger scale?
i would also suggest to add some luminosity to the molecules
ciao beppe
