I dont know, usually they reply quickly when things are doable, but like the "baking texture thread" this is not the case.
i7 2600, 16 GB RAM, 2x Evga 670 SC 4gb, dual boot win7/osxML, 2 SSDs, 3 HDs.

I sincerely hope this can be done--this is a big selling point for many freelancers and companies. As I said, the moment this renderer has this feature, we will adopt it at work. I am happy to see others excited about this as well, it really is a massive time saver. Maybe they are secretly working on it and will just drop it on us soon :) That would be great.

Its not the world greatest idea people. it would require octane to be able to modify geometry. too hard to implement. Just do a manual bevel.

Doing a manual bevel on a cube is easy, doing it on very complex or dense meshes makes this feature a savior. Especially if you are rendering CAD data where you did not build the object, or have no control over the topology out of the CAD programme.

Well if you are using CAD then that gonna be even a bigger problem. CAD is NURBS, octane is polygons tessellated NURBS can look ugly. You might want to look into modo.
