Microsoft Windows XP (32bit) service Pack 3

Video Card

There is a problem with current release and old GPUs like the 9500GT. Please, send to me a email to [email protected] and I will send to you a pre-release of the next beta build who has support for your card (I hope, because it is really old and I can't test it here). Perhaps you must think about change your GPU ... even a cheap one, like a GTX 660ti or even a GTX660 is going to be a lot faster.

At some point, perhaps soon, Otoy is going to drop the support of this old GPUs because there are a lot of problems to compile current Octane code for the old CUDA GPUs.

thank you Juanjo for your fast answer, actually I think I'll change my computer...
I send you an email soon because I'm interested that you send me a pre-release next beta build of the plug in.
Thank you yet.

Either I've missed a setting somewhere or there's a bug, but my chrome (glossy material node) is not reflecting as chrome in a mirror surface (another glossy material node).

Here's an example...

I have a serious problems with my gtx 480. The card crashes and forces me to update every time I change something. Besides rendering is very slow compared to the standalone version.

What is crashing? ... the plugin, or rendering stop. Rendering speed must the the same as standalone, I never see that plugin was slower because it uses the same core libs.

Please, if you tell me more information pehaps we can fix the problems.

Please, send to me a email to [email protected] and I will send you a pre-release of the next beta with new core libs. I am not sure if current release has problems with 4xx series GPUs, but we can try with the new libs that sure works for 2xx or older GPUs.

We have found a bug that hangs LW if you press F9 with the IPR window open after move the timeline ... perhaps this is your problem with F9 no render at all.
