UPDATE 15 March: the slot for the SketchUp plug-in has been filled

Hi everyone,

in the last weeks and months, the number of fully integrated OctaneRender plugins has been rapidly growing: we currently have plug-ins available for 3ds Max, Maya,
Poser, ArchiCAD and Lightwave and soon for Cinema 4D, Daz, Softimage, Blender, AutoCAD and Revit and a few other
yet to be announced plug-ins are in development.

Even though we're supporting almost all the major 3D packages, we are still missing support for a few important ones such as
SketchUp and Modo.

If you are developer experienced with developing plug-ins for these or other 3D packages and are interested in developing a tightly
integrated OctaneRender plug-in, let us know by sending an email to [email protected]

We would need someone who is proficient with C/C++, 3D graphics development and knowledge, and a license of SketchUp/Modo.
The OctaneRender SDK is extremely solid and very easy to integrate.

We also want parties who develop plugin products to be highly motivated to keep developing further, provide quality 3rd line support,
and improve the product over time.

It could be very helpful if some of our regular users here who frequent SketchUp or Modo related forums could make a post on those
forums to see if we can find the right person for this job. Feel free to reproduce this announcement on community boards where software
developers who could be interested in these plugins frequent.

Many thanks in advance and cheers,

the OctaneRender team

Incredible news. I´m not a developer, but I´m a devoted Modo user. If you need some testing from me, I´m here :D

EDIT: I´ve just linked this thread to Modo´s forum. Let´s see if there´s someone to help from there.
