Tried modeling and rendering an environment for the first time. It was a fun learning experience. :)

Thanks guys!

The first one is pathtracing render using a free HDRI I downloaded from the net. The second one is direct light with sunlight (new). Both in AO mode.

I used octane database materials for the floor, pillows and the lamp. The rest are flat octane materials. I did some light post work in photoshop with overlayed and multiplied gradient layers other than that its straight out of octane.

Merid the walls are just a white diffuse material. I spend a lot of time playing with exposure/fstop so you should take a look there if you are having problems getting your walls to look white.

Thanks again for the comments.

As a tip, in order to get correct and natural whites, I always use the color balance button. It makes miracles to me, and saves me a lot of time color balancing in photoshop :) (It´s the rainbow-colored wheel, between the autofocus button and the materials button)
