Ciao!
p.s.: sorry for the Italian language.

Hi Bepeg,
This is very nice, I create a little COFFEE script from your code to be more easy to use :
http://code.vonc.fr/?a=33
Just select an instance or the object source and run the script, it will generate the text to past in the scatter node.
The only imperative is to have the object source at the (0;0;0) global coordinates.
It can be optimised, it don't allow Mograph cloner yet (just convert the Mograph cloner object by checking Instance Render to generate the instances).
I don't compiled it to a CSC file to be compatible for 11.5 and more.

It should be useful the "Select" command to identify an instance list from which to obtain the matrix values. The command is under "command manager", the icon shows a blue arrow pointing to the white cube, description: add an object selection.renderfarmsrl wrote:Potrebbe tornare utile il comando "Selezione" per individuare una lista di Istanze da cui copiare le matrici? Sincerely I don't use very often the grid cloner because it's not so present in nature. Btw I thank you all for the big work and the time you're spending to find a solution.
Cheers.

very very good césar, a big thanks, well done
in my opinion the clone2scatter works pretty well but the select2scatter is not very confortable; i was trying to find a way for using a list of objects but without success, but yours solution is extremely more confortable since you don't need to find all the instanced objects, thanks again
@andrea: the mograph cloners are perfect for natural distribution objects with hundreds of instances randomly placed, scaled and rotated, not only grid disposition
ciao beppe
p.s. i'm just the inspirator, the real author is Marcus aka abstrax

Yes but I usually place manually the foreground objects and objects near to the camera.,,, in this way the picture is much more balanced .. so I need to manually select all the instances I need to export. I will try the script asap. Bye.

Hi all,
For your information, the COFFEE script provided by César works well with Cinema 4D 11 too.
Thanks a lot to everybody for these jobs !

Appreciate the work of everyone here in getting these export scripts working with Octane Scatter node. Very nice! Thank you.
