Seems that many people expect these cards perhaps who will finally accelerate rendering.
I'm in the starting blocks, waiting for the first tests in New Zealand. :geek: :D

Be carefull it's just a game credit of 110eur.
So you'll have to buy 330eur of World of Tanks, Planetside 2 or Hawken :roll:

OK - anyone selling cheap 590s in the next month or so - PM me :)

- Octane team - make a GPGPU benchmarking tool (like c4d cinebench) - based on the octane demo and a visually impressive scene - make it a neat package - and send it off to all of those people benchmarking the new GPUs - as a marketing scheme - in return we will have a clear understanding of the speeds and performances are - and people might hear more of octane

- maybe raise an awareness to nvidia's people - we need computing optimized GPUs not bloody gaming optimizations - the abbreviation for GPU is Graphical processing unit - not Gaming processing unit - although we know it would be possible if it wasn't for the market in the gaming community to develop all the hardware in the first place :)

+1, many sites already using the Lux renderer. Would be great if they would start using Octane to bench Nvidia GPUs.
