- Octane team - make a GPGPU benchmarking tool (like c4d cinebench) - based on the octane demo and a visually impressive scene - make it a neat package - and send it off to all of those people benchmarking the new GPUs - as a marketing scheme - in return we will have a clear understanding of the speeds and performances are - and people might hear more of octane

- maybe raise an awareness to nvidia's people - we need computing optimized GPUs not bloody gaming optimizations - the abbreviation for GPU is Graphical processing unit - not Gaming processing unit - although we know it would be possible if it wasn't for the market in the gaming community to develop all the hardware in the first place
