Hey guys, most of my work is archviz and I want to start adding a little more complexity to my scenes through the use of 3d vegetation...Nothing too complex, basic trees/grasses. What program would you recommend and why? Which is easier to use or has better support for octane?
thanks-abe

In my opinion forest pro's only advantage is billboard 2d foliages and automatic facing to active camera.
multiscatter is very fast in viewport and updates frames very fast in animation with real 3d instances.

I use the itoo tools. So ForestPack. Runs very nice and without problems. It gets regular updates but needs a new license upgrade every year (subscription). Maybe it is a matter of taste. DOnt know if Multiscatter is also a subscription or one time buy.

ForestPack is great... I don't know how Mscatter works...

Thanks for your feedback. I have been playing around with the FPP lite version and have seen really nice results and has been easy to work with. I am leaning towards FPP but the one feature of multiscatter that does look helpful is the MultiPainter.
