Hi Octaners,

I intend to buy a GTX 690 but I'm not sure to make the good choice. Now I'm using Octane for 6000px rendering, or higher, on a GTX 680 2GB and I often reach the available memory limit.
The GTX 690 has 4GB but I realized that it's a 680 SLI 2GB, so, I would like to know if memory allocated on Octane will still be 2GB or 4GB?

In the same vein, if I buy two GTX 690, will I have 8GB?

Thx !

With the GTX690 you are are going to have only 2 GB of memory available to Octane, and add more cards doesn't help.

To have more memory you need to add GTX680 cards with 4GB or Titan with 6GB.

Thank you very much Juanjgon, I think I'm going to direct my choice to GTX Titan. I need speed, but the allocated memory is more important for me.
