As for the lighting, I am using a texture environment with an RGB value(importance sampling on) for natural light and blackbody emitters for all the artificial lights in the scene. As for the ceiling lights, I am wondering if or if not Octane lights are a bit more optimized than blackbody emitters in Octane for 3dsmax. I am looking to do an animation for this and current render times are gonna make this impossible, so if anyone can shed some light on how I can get down my render times via pathtracing I would greatly appreciate it. I've seen octane interior animations people have done with the same GPUs via pathtracing with claims of much shorter render times and higher resolutions. Specs to my workstation are listed below.
