mesh import problem

Hi all, i've some problem when export some surface in octane render standalone. Usually i make this operation : 1- select and export the surface from rhino in obj 2-merge the object with c4d and assign material 3- use the latest version of c4d exporter and load file with octane render standalone.
The strange thing is that the problem occurs sometimes with simple surfaces. Can you help me?

Hi Perininavi,

Can you please post the .obj file for this?
It looks like there may be normal problems, scale problems, or maybe duplication of geometry.

Hi Chris,thnx for reply, you can find post the obj file. I've try to scale the object but don't change nothing,i think the problem stems from the normal or geometry but i do not know how to fix it.

Hi Giacomo,

Yes, this looks to be a scale problem.
How big is this meant to be?
Try changing the obj file unit in the obj mesh import preferences to millimeters.

Please keep the OBJ import unit at meters. The export plugin tries to convert to meters. If the units were correctly set in the C4D document, it should work right out of the box, otherwise you have to specify the C4D unit in the export dialog.

Could you post the size of the object in C4D and a screenshot of the export dialog?
