Hi everyone,

I just got the Octane demo and I was trying the benchmark out....it rendered very fast on my GTX275, but I wonder about heating...I checked and the temp of my gpu reached 85C...is this dangerous? Are we going to short our video card's life with it?

Thanks.

Hal.

Your card's maximum temperature should be 105°C. But if it ever does get that hot, you have a problem.

The fan control in nvidia drivers are bad, i control the fan manual with nvclock (linux) and
the temperature is at 60° C.

Cheers, mib
