Hey all, I am new to Octane and SUPER excited. I am curious if there are plans to support Maya fur and fluids in the future?

I don't think so, I would love so much fluids and particles support too, but all the development comes from the standalone octane to the software plugins, not the other way around. At least that's how it is for the moment.

But particles are supported in Maya plugin.:? Or you need something additional in particles support?..

Yes, I should have specified particle shading.. Octane supports the geometry driven by particle systems - which is awesome - but it would be cool to have blobby surfaces and cloudy particles like in native maya. I am not complaining, it's just that I work often with particles and maya fluids and I prefer to work with the octane renderer whenever I have the chance : )
