Hi guys!!

I want to share my first try of octane render here ... model is a quick (about 10 mins) sculpt made with sculptris, than imported to blender to texture it. And finally rendered with Octane Render. Pathtracing, 5500 s/px, 1024x512, Rendertime: about 40 mins with a GeForce 8800 GT on a Mac Pro (heading for a EVGA GeForce GTX 285 the next weeks). C & C welcome!

Leto

Hi! nice render!
I have the same a mac pro with 8800 GT and I'm planning to buy a GTX 285 for mac pro. Did you bought at last? Could you share the result of render times between 8800 vs 285 with pathtracing?

Thanks, Sergi.
