Here's v02 of the latest exporter.

The OBJ creation speed has been improved by a few %, by improved algorithms for vertex-data reuse.
The OBJ file's size is also optimized so it should load faster into the OCS.

Install it by extracting the contents of the ZIP into your Plugins folder, maintaining all helper files within their subfolders, as seen inside the ZIP, when appropriate.
Restart Sketchup to auto-load it.

Thank you very much TIG! I had quite a pressing project and you managed to help me out! Other exports gave strange artefacts. Kind regards from a happy Octane user!

HI Tig

Great job on the exporter.

I have a big scene, that normally take about 180 sec to export,,, now with the new exporter it is exported in just 80 sec. great time improvements.
Will i see any missing materials and / or lines, faces ect, during the export process???

Again thanks for your great work.

By the way I posted below some time ago but no reply from you, hope you have time to give me a reply.

Export all materials even the material is hidden in sketchup.

I have some suggestions for future functionality of the exporter.

When I do big interior renders I some times hide some objects in SKETCHUP and then do the export. In this way the export time is reduced, and I can focus on adjusting materials in octane. The problem with this is that Octane then delete the materials of the objects that I hide in SKETCHUP, so when I un-hide and export later I will have to setup the materials again in Octane.

Would it be possible to have a function in the exporter to export all materials no matter the material is hidden in SKTECTUP or not??

This would help me a lot and I guess lots of other people as well.
