Can I buy now?

I see that there is now an option to purchase the Maya plugin only (for current holders of Octane standalone.)

So now I can buy the standalone then just buy the Softimage plugin when it comes out?

This has kept me from purchasing Octane as before it was either standalone or plugin/standalone.

I might as well get started with Octane if I can just get the plugin when it comes out but I want a official answer before I lay down the cash.

I'm sure others would like to see the answer as well and might make the same decision as I do

yup, you need the standalone to run the plugin - at least I am 100% sure for the 3dmax plugin - only thing there might be a discount if you buy the package, and I think it was possible to buy the plugin separate anyway, also that was how the 3dmax plugin was firstly distributed anyway

I'm sure I saw the Max Plugin priced with the standalone and not separate... I need an official response that I can buy the Softimage plugin separate.

hi all, the standalone and all the plugins can be bought separately and the prices for these (each) are as listed on the website. Just note that the discount cant be given apart from the combo and packaged offers listed there. cheers

Okay got it... buy now and pay 398 euro total or wait for si plugin package deal and save 39 euro.
