Hi all, I have a scene with 2 Octane Light-s, but I don't want to see them in my render, but only their effect, they have option On/Off and visible, visible turns them off completely, and on/off just turns the illumination effect... but how to remove them from render? or maybe set their alpha to invisible?

edit: I have 3ds max plugin version 1.0 RC3
thanks!

....mmmmmmh!, sounds strange: the "visibility" option affects the visibility of the light in the render and has no effect on the light emitted, so if your light switchs off with the unchecking of the "visibility" option, probably you have some improper plugin behaviour.

Try to reistall all the files of the plugin

now I've installed latest version of 3ds max plugin, that test version 1.02

still doesn't work

visibility when turned off turns off and removes lights from render completely

when I turn visibility on, I see it ofcourse in render

problem solved, I just figured out that I simply can't set object to be invisible, and than expect it to be visible only in refractions...
