A Live plug-in would be awsome. I'd like to think I'd buy into a beta pricing from Otoy if the price is right.

I originally bought Octane Render for Blender but considering I recently bought Modo 601, this would be great.

I think Octane should start focusing on Modo considering their recent merger with Foundry. Many users can be gained if they just direct a little bit more public/community awareness about a Live plugin for Modo in which there aren't too many competition that I know of.
Of course, they gotta show something that works and not just announce. LOL.

And, I'm having trouble with the current Modo>Octane Export script 1.05. I can access the tab inside Modo but when I export I get an error...Is 1.05 the latest script?

I guess my investment with Octane Render will remain with Blender.

We don't even have a properly working exporter for Modo... so anything that woks would be welcome at this point.

+1 for Modo plug-in. Modo is an amazing software, is growing in users and comunity. I think is incredible that Otoy hasn't put a priority on Modo's plug in and gave preference to secondary software as Poser or the old Lightwave...

nobody has given particular priority to the one or the other. everybody is free to jump on and doing a modo plugin, and will be supported by otoy as every other plugin dev.

btw, are you aware of some fully integrated 3rd party renderer? i mean doing things interactively like the octane plugins; i only know of thea and maxwell, and both work as external applications, sort of mix between exporter and plugin...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply
