thx for that :)...for animation is still prohibitive..but as u say it a WIP...so it might get faster with time.. :) lets hope so

Isn't this already possible? I've done some tests with current volumetric mediums which was really difficult to get right, but what's different about this? is this still considered unbiased? Or is it like a quick biased algorithm just for light sources? How will this be calculated with mesh emitters?
