First of all : Hi everybody!
I'm a brand new user of Octane Render. (I knew about it yesterday, and bought it this morning!)

So here is my first issue:
I'm trying to place a kind of a sticker (or decal) on my model (an old TI99 computer from the 80's).
My first choice is to use a Mix material : First one is a brushed alloy and second one is a black glossy shader. Both are mixed with a PNG texture like that:

I'm using a UVW Map modifier to place the picture mask, but I cant deactivate the Tile effect.
I just want to keep it inside the red frame.

I use to work with UVW Map Channels under Vray, and I must admit that I'm lost here with Octane under max.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Best Regards.

Hi cmatias and welcome

Octane doesn't manage non tiled map, as far as i know octane.
You have to make a bigger map in order to mask the whole model.

It will be a great improuvement that octane could manage the on/off tiling of a texture ...

Thank you very much Bicket!
I did a 10k X 5k map for this sticker, but it's ok !

I must admit I am disappointed not being able to use UV channels and Tiling Off under Max.
Also , auto render update on UV changes should be great on any 3D host software.

Right click on your object and select "Octane Properies". Check "movable proxy" will anable auto update for this object (with a little cost on performances)

Thank you Bicket!
it works well. I didn't thought this proxy setting could be of any help with this.

Thanks again
