Hi guys-
I'm planning on implementing Octane in my studio for major animation projects in the near future. At least those that only involve PSR animation. My question is how many of you have successfully put Octane into your workflow? What are the big gottcha's if any?

Thanks all. Really loving Octane.

Hi,

recently I've used Octane for animation, don't know if it's major, you can tell by yourself: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26009.
It took 4 weeks from concept to final work. One man, one workstation, one octane licence.
I believe without Octane wouldn't be possible.

Standalone with abstrax's exporter working just fine, sometimes cinema lost connection with octane and you need restart C4D (but maybe is just problem with my C4D/plugin configuration).

IMHO octane is the future and I wouldn't hesitate if I were you.
Octane team is doing great job, and C4d to Octane communication is getting better and better. We should get full integration in near future.

DUDE. That animation is insane. I can't believe one guy did that in four weeks. You are a monster my friend! Very, very nicely done. It looked like a studio did that project. Excellent work!

I think you answered my question. Yes, it's possible to do elaborate animation with Octane. Good to know.w

thanks
