Impressive ! As a Blender user, I can only cry ! 

French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.
I am using HairFarm at work. Its really fast and works fine with other renderers. I guess it was GPU based then Cem Yuksel ( the owner of the HairFarm plugin) implemented it to 3dsMax for cpu based renderers. Maybe octane team can implement hair farm for OctaneRender. There are lots of info at Cem Yuksel's personal page.
Would be nice, it's a pretty cool plugin. Cebas and Chaosgroup implemented it in their renderers, they worked together with Cem to do this so there should be a way if Otoy is interested in it.
