It is not the new feature. It is the standard Maya's "Render" mode, it was supported from the beginning of this plugin. You have different menus in Maya's RenderView for two different render modes: "Render" and "IPR".

Thanks Jim, I did not know that... just lost a 32 hour render to boot, I guess Ill stop using IPR for single frame shots!
