Here's v03.
Octane_1025-03.zip
(450.66 KiB) Downloaded 800 times
It increases the number of d.p. in the coordinates that are exported in an attempt to ameliorate issues reported with Octane incorrectly rendering very very tiny or slim triangular facets etc.
Also the (c) has been updated to Otoy and 2012.

The main change is if there is a Selection when you choose to do the 'Export' then an additional prompt dialog asks if you want to
'Export Selection Only' - you answer 'YES' to Export the Selection Only, OR 'NO' to Export Everything Visible [i.e. the whole visible model (i.e. all non-hidden objects with ON layers), just as if there were had been no Selection]. This can be useful if you want to export just a part of the model to use with the new instancing capabilities of Octane.

Extraction of the archived files/subfolders in the ZIP and their installation in the Plugins folder is as before - please see the README / Help PDF...

TIG,
Thank you so much for the new function of exporting selected objects only.

PS. Holes in exported mesh are on Octane "side".
the next release will suffer less from this issue.

Hey, guys.

Any plans for a fully integrated version, similar to the 3dsMAX one? :)
