great work
. Now am baffled as to why you have posted a photo since it is a rendering site.
Quite nice at first glance. But one thing that I don't like (and most your renders seem to have this problem) is the exaggerated DOF and added post-pro blurriness.
In the picture above nothing is really sharp & in focus - everything is blurred.
You most likely did some additional glowing in postpro. This maybe makes the render look more like a (bad) photo at first glance, but really doesn't add anything to the picture.

The problem is that there is nothing sharp in your image, nothing the viewer eyes can rest on without trying to "re-focus it". Everything is either hazy / blurry or out of focus. This is a typical example where (exaggerating with) post-production effects will ruin your image.PAQUITO wrote:Dont you like adding bloom to the images?

Although I really like this image, I have to agree with Matej.
I hurts my eyes when I look at the picture, because nothing is sharp.

Composition is good, lighting works, few technical issues with geometry of mat and floor board. Post production as stated by others the bloom effect layer could be dialed back a bit.
I too sometimes use photo techniques to enhance the render in post production, we all do for that matter, however each have adopted a style that works for them. In some case it's adding Chromatic Aberration to give your render an bad photo look.
Most phots want to get rid of the effect, we welcome the effect in 3D rendering, because it dulls the "Perfect Image" look.

Dont fix it, do the opposite to add it or use tools to add the effect. There is a plugin for GIMP also.
