Hi!
to be sure it works at 100% (hardware- but also driver-wise) you should go for a Mac edition nVidia card. AFAIK the best (and almost only...) after-market card I've seen so far is the 285GTX 0,9Mb sold in the official apple stores (online too). Don't know if there's some of the new GTX4xx coming soon (but I wouldn't hold my breath...)
