Activate error

Tried running it. At activate screen I enter my userid and passoword. Get the following:

Error Activating account " Invalid OctaneLive account or wrong account / password combination"

Odd because I can render in octane and log into my octanelive account. I've enabled octane in windows firewall, but no joy. Any Ideas?

You need to enter your OctaneRender for Poser liveid and password, not your OctaneRender Standalone liveid and password. You can see these at http://render.otoy.com/account/octanelive.php.

How do you get the OctaneRender for Poser liveid and password? It doesn't show for me on that page...only the standalone.

They should show up under the OctaneLive Accounts....OctaneRender Standalone first, and then OctaneRender for Poser below that. You should have received a confirmation email after your purchased the Poser plugin. They may be a delay generating the username/password. If it is not displaying in a few hours, pls let me know and I'll forward the issue to Otoy.

To use the poser plugin you need a standalone license and a poser plugin license. Both can be bought from our shop page.

So to use the "Full integrated plugin", you need the standalone Octane
It's is not a fully integrated plugin then its just an interface to the render
I'm not going to spend a 99€ (same price as Octane) for that.

Whilst the commercial arrangement may not be "fully integrated", I can assure that the actual plugin is!
