I try to explain how the idea to create this function.
I live in villahermosa,Tabaco,Mexico and here the ambient temperature is between 30 ° C AND 45 ° C or more.
Allways OPEN MY COMPUTER CABINET AND STAND A DIRECT VENTILatOR to the graphics cards.
The regular temperature of the graphic cards are 45 °C to 50°C when not working in renders, and this rise to more than 80°C when making RENDERS.

when i do renders, i have to check constantly the graphic cards temperature. Becoming a SLAVE of the pc.

the nornal procces is: hit render-when the temperature rise to 80°C i hit pause
when the temperature decline to 50°C i hit render
and i repeat this proces a lot of times until i get a desired result.

I hope my comments will be helpful to create this function in version 2.0.
sorry my bad english
Regards.... :D

For about $69USD you can get the ZALMAN VF3000F(GTX580/570) EBR Bearing Dual 92mm Fans, FanMate 2, IHD Technology for Nvidia Fermi GTX580/570 VGA Cooler. These will keep your card from overheating.

What card do you have?
The GTX 690 and 680 have a max temp of 98 C, so if you are below 90, you are more than safe.
The GTX 590 and 580 have a max temp of 97 C.

If you don't feel comfortable about that, get an external fan like in the above post and rest easy.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS.
I HAVE ONE GTX 570 AND ONE GTX 670, I NEVER LEAVE exceeding 80 degrees as a precaution, IN MEXICO IS SO DIFFICULT TO GET GPUS ACCESORIES LIKE A LIQUID COOLER SISTEM OR FANS FOR GPUS :D

buy some Pcie riser or extender card, use it on your vga that in the middle position. then put big fan into it
dont forget to put the computer on Air Con room

it works for me
I live in Indonesia, my room temp without Aircon is 30 C
have been used 3 gtx 590,
the middle position 590 make the first and second (middle) vga card hot (90 C)
i use pcie extender card on the middle card so the fan can cooled the first and middle vga

the temp of that 3 gtx 590 become 70-75 C when rendering

here is the picture

I think this product is better than my previous extender card , want to buy at that store, I think it can send worldwide
