Support/workaround for VrayScatter or CarbonScatter?

Hi

Has anybody already success with VrayScatter (http://rendering.ru/ru_en/vrayscatter-for-maya.html) or CarbonScatter (http://www.carbonscatter.com) when using octane render plugin? I know it was sometimes mentioned in the forum, but the plugin didn't support instances until now. Or is there a workaround?
The Scatter Mel Script has not enough features for my needs.

I'm not sure which "Scatter Mel script" you're talking about, but these are alternatives I use.

There's the free SP Paint 3D I used for a long time:
