I don't know if this is that important, but it came up a couple times for me before I realized what was happening, and since you guys want a polished 1.0 release, I thought I would post this.
I use Blender (but I assume it would be the same with any of the exporters). I set me resolution in Blender and export. I do a lot of back and forth between Blender and Octane to get everything right. I found that if I check the "lock aspect ratio" button under resolution, then go back to Blender, change my aspect ratio (I do this sometimes to get a better crop) and export back to Octane, then change my resolution to the final resolution I want, it will use the aspect ratio from my previous export (when I initially checked the box) giving me a ratio I don't want. To get around this, I just uncheck it and recheck before changing my resolution. I guess the checkbox doesn't lock your current ratio, but locks the ratio it was when you selected it.
Minor issue, but it was frustrating before I figured out what was causing it.
Resolution ratio "bug"?
