I import in meters without any material applied, but when i try to apply a material from octane library, is diplayed in extremely small scale in the object!
If i want to fix it, i have to increase the scale so much that looks abnormal in the sphere
I would apreciate any help!!!
MATERIALS displayed in WRONG SCALE!
This is probably better asked in another [more apt] forum.
It's not specifically Sketchup related.
Some of the Octane materials do arrive very small compared to the imported facets original materials?
This can occur with many apps originating the data used in the OCS...

First of all thanks for taking time to answer....
but i apply the same materials to other meshes ex. the ones that come with the octane and they are applied properly.
It seems that all of the materials are out of scale in octane with the meshes from Skethcup
The ones that are applied in Sketchup though, they are exported ok.

This probably has to do with the scale the creator of the material made it. You can modify your models UV map to fix it, but it's tedious. What would fix it is a universal scale node so you can modify the scale of the entire material. We don't have one right now, and because of that, it is very hard to use any of the materials in the live database.

If you dont attach a mat (with texture) in SU then you have to scaling the liveDB mat to 0.1 ( with the limitations of position and orientation of the map).
It si, from my experience, always better to chose any mat with a texture in SU which will be properly showed in octane and perfectly scaled if you sobstitute it from liveBD.
