Hello,
I've installed drivers an octane without issues but I am unable to open it.
Does it work with a 64 bits Mac under Mac OS 10.8?
Thanks and regards,

Maybe you didn't install the CUDA 4.0 toolkit? Anyway, please wait until tomorrow, when we plan to release a new demo version which does not require you to install the CUDA toolkit anymore.

I've ended up to uninstall everything and reinstall.
I was able to start Octane and open a scene.
However, when it started to render, it crashed my Mac which shutdowns.
It is a 2009 macbook pro with a 9400 M nvidia card. Is this model supported?
Thanks and regards,

Hi Ric,
A 9400m is not a very powerful card and i don't think you will really be able to use octane for anything other than a trivial scene.
Having said that it still SHOULD work (albeit very slowly). If your render starts but crashes soon after then it could be that the card is overheating or it is starting to fail.
The best system for octane (in my opinion) is a windows machine with a desktop sized graphics card.
Cheers
Chris.
