Just picked up Octane Render again. It's been awhile, but I really was inspired by everyone's amazing work with this rendering engine. Here's some work in progress car renders of a Mercedes model. I love how fast you can get results. Anyone have any good material tutorials out there?

Hi brobo,
i really love cars shoots, the only thing that I could suggest you is to test and mix some material from the Live DB tweaking with the mixing percentage (better using a faloff map), you can even try to adjust the specular and roughness of an only one material of the two.
The last suggestion is to try "tons" of hdri
wait for some update.
Cheers, paolo

I think you should try a studio background ( one of those rounded edge backboard types) also to help make the overall image more appealing.

Playing around with the render more. I composited it in Photoshop with a background plate.

Does the plate numbers and text mean something to you? If not, PS it like an anagram of your initials and birthday or something else for fun.
