from 7000 to 16000 samples
caustic blur set to 0.3 to smooth the SSS materials of the bathroom bottles
slight denoise (not necessary) in photoshop with Nik
What about to apply a denoise filter to ies emitters? I tend to use less possible ies lamps because they generate too much noise.
This scene was illuminated by hidden rectangular lights.
On the back of the windows there are big emitters too (no sky portals)

Wow ! Amazing scene. I love the style. High Quality work !
Just two little things, though : I personnally found that the modernity touch of the laptop on image Detail_02 is not welcome (even if it is clear that the scene is modern, due to ceiling lamps). I would remove the laptop.
In image Detail_05, I think that the object seen in very foreground on the left could require one more subdivision level (some edges/angles are noticeable).

Hi Gabriele
Beautifull renders of an Uggly space.
I don't really like this sort of things but your images are great.

Very well done as usual.
For me the wood is a little too glossy (looks like 5 coats of polyurethane) and things are a little too perfectly laid out square but its not catching to the eye.
Is this another boat interior or a house? You seems to get a lot of jobs for opulent interiors.
I hope there aren't a whole lot of poor starving people somewhere paying with wretched lives for these palacial surroundings

for me too but the RC2 boost the glossy of all materials...I think that the automatic conversion is wrong. This is only a test to check if the RC2 works....and I can say that it works but with ies lights doesn't.pixelrush wrote:Very well done as usual.

The model is a concept design based on Stefano Ricci style.

p.s.
bathroom of Ricci web site was not rendered by me (someone else did it with vray), the bathroom square detail here is rendered by me with Octane.
