I think I've seen it somewhere, but couldnt find it.. Im looking at PCI-E extenders and finally found something, so now Im wondering what is the maximum amount of GPUs that can be used? I think I've seen the number eight somehwere, but would would 8 x GTX690 work or are those counted as two?

quad Titan Kepler 6GB + quad Titan X Pascal 12GB + quad GTX1080 8GB + dual GTX1080Ti 11GB
Currently there is no limitation of the number of GPUs in Octane. Realistically though, you will hardly be able to plug in more than 8 graphics cards into your system, which results in 16 GPUs. We have tried Octane on a 16 GPU machine and in works fine.
