Hi all
I recently bought the Octane render, and I love it.
At the moment I only have 1 GFX card (Geforce 260GTX), its kinda old with only 160 Cuda Cores.
So, If I buy 4 new GFX Cards with 1500 Cuda Cores EACH. Will it be:
Will it be 37 TIMES FASTER!!!!??
160/(1500 x 4) = 37,5
My render time is now 2 hours, so 37 times fast will end at: 3 minutes.
Cuda cores? Render time?

Hi, it is not so easy.
I had a GTX 260 with 192 cores and now I have a GTX 550Ti with 192 cores but it is 50% faster.
You can´t compare cards of different series but a GTX 580 with 512 cores is nearly 2,5 times faster than my GTX 550Ti.
And no suprise it cost 3 times more.
There are some threads about GTX 600 series, one is here:
