Hi,
I look forwared to all the features that are necessary for renderer to be called mature - like instances, motion blur, SSS, indirect light through glass, no bugs and all the basic features, so final release can come. But I would like to know WHETHER and WHEN are other "additional" features planned. Honestly. These features can make BIG visual impact to (mainly exterior architectural) renderings. They can be possibly simulated in Photoshop, but... you know.
These features are for me:
- clouds in the physical sky - something like in Advanced Renderer in C4D. It is much better then buy and buy HDR sky collection, messing with them, with reflections... There is almost no archvis that is better with absolutly clear sky than with some clouds. Absolutly clear sky is no reality for most of the year...
- something like Simulens in Maxwell Render. Can you see beautiful and realistic sun glare etc... in reality, in photos...? Again, you can see sharp clear sun circle nowhere in reality.
- grass shader - Grass blades is reality! Green texture on plane is ugly. Workarounds are so boring and time consuming...
Thanks for reply.
Features that makes renderer unique for me.
