Actually the way they implement Texture mapping in Sketchup would be pretty Cool in the Octane Stand alone.If you don't use Sketchup then watch the link..

can you please be a bit more consistent with the version numbering ?

OctaneRender 1.025 beta 2.58e
OctaneRender 1.025 beta 2.59 -> 2 versions in 1 filename?
octane_beta_303.app -> 1.? beta 3.03?
octane.app -> 1.0 RC1 -> 1.0 newer than 1.025? :D

i get it of course, but it is confusing .)

btw : 1.0 RC1 updated?
is this a 2nd 1.0 RC1 with the same name?

Yes, but that's not our fault ;) There will be only 1.0 RC<x> with <x> being (hopefully) a one-digit number, then there will be 1.0 and then we continue with 1.01, 1.02 and so on. It's not completely decided yet, but that would probably make the most sense. We will also release stable versions and test releases. The version number will not indicate stable/test releases, but the release notes will.

In a nutshell: With 1.0 there will be a cut in the version number scheme and sanity will come back.

No, it's the same Octane. There just has been a quick fix for the bug where the wrong CUDA code is used for GPUs with compute model 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 (as stated in the updated release notes). Since this problem affects only a small group of users it didn't make sense to do a new release.

( я создавал новые материалы в онлайн библиотеу, загрузил штук 4, после отлучился на минуту, когда решил покрутить болванку.. появилась эта надпись красная на панельке октана Оо и зафризило вьюпорт)
