When I apply an image to the distribution channel of emitter, I lose the mapping of the surface.
To get a result similar to mapping without emitter, I have to change the setting of the uv coords

What are you trying to achieve here? If you want a textured emitter like a television screen, you have to connect the image texture to the texture/efficiency input. The distribution input is for creating directional light sources.
