help:fail to load binary data from octane?

It's been years since I have ran Windows but it might be because you are running the 32 bit version on a 64 bit machine, at least according to your sig. You would think that the 32 bit version should run, maybe a library difference?

Next to octane.exe you should find a file octane.dat. If that one is missing or corrupt you will get the mentioned error message.
