Thanks ! For the inside views, there is much grain due to low light, but I also stopped the render before getting a good enough result, seeing the grain. I can't use portals as I want to see some reflections in the glasses. I tried PMC, but stopped soon also : too slow and not much advantage at first glance. These inside view need more tests.
Later, I plan to put passengers in the bus and they will reflect in glasses. There is already the driver and the conductor with his Gibson tickets machine. It is not well shown on this shots.

love the one from inside the bus!
are you sure about the brick size? look to be about 20 per storey, which would make a storey 1 and a half metres tall...?

workstation well past its sell-by-date, Vista 64 bit (!) with a pitiful amount of RAM, re-invigorated with a GX 590

@sdwhitton : I have verified on my UV map in blender, and the measures are like yours, except the longest (9inches=22.86cm) that is only 1cm longer on my map. Other measures : 3"=7.62cm and 4"=10.16cm.
I have seen less thick bricks on some rare photos, but they were used mainly vertically for decors under and above the windows (windows sills and vaults).
I will search again more photos, but I don't see any difference with the bunch of ref images that I have gathered so far...
I have just found these two links, but not read all yet.
http://www.fatbadgers.co.uk/Britain/Brick%20Bonding.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick#Opti ... d_strength
From the table in the second link :
United Kingdom 8½ × 4 × 2½ in = 215 × 102.5 × 65 mm
EDIT : You were right about the height of the storeys : there was something wrong.
I have compared the height of the storeys of the Hotel building with the building with oriels, in background, and it appears that I have 2 storeys on the bacground building for the same height with 3 storeys on the foreground buildings. My storeys are not tall enough : I verified with the doorman character (1.80m with the cap) that I have recently added to the scene. This also exlains why I couldn't use 6 panes tall windows !
So, thank you for pointing that ! Visually, it was not obvious for me !

Building corrected.
Image composited and edited in Photoshop Elements from several shots, as for now only one side of the street has been build, and only on 200 meters.

Hi, Thank you very much.
So far, I try to render some images for study, from the interesting points of view in the already built set. There are still few buildings, and only one on one side of the street. There is also a lack of realistic textures, because I am saving textures for now, in order to keep them for the most interesting and in view buildings or other objects.
The set is slightly growing. I will add detail on all sides of the buildings. This will help to save geometry : This way, I will be able to rotate the buildings, showing different faces to simulate several different buildings.
There is still much work before having an enough complete environment.
Stay tuned !
