same velocity, more ram, but less power and noise, good product, except for the price, here in italy is double of a 590 :(
ciao beppe
Really? That's weird. A 690 is here only 20% more than a 590 - if you can get a 590 at all. But I guess, if you have a 590, use it. Beside the RAM and heat there is no other real advantage of the 690 over the 590.

Cheers,
Marcus

Ok thanks for all the clarification, I thought i made a mistake buying the 590 instead of the 690's. :)

You don't happen to have a 670 for a performance comparison do you?
I'm sort of interested in one but I can't quite work out how fast it would be in comparison to my 460
Maybe I'll sit out a generation in the hopes Nvidia get serious about single precision again...
I just purchased a EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E Video Card (02G-P4-3660-KR) to replace my gtx 560ti. I paid $284 CAN and the only difference from a gtx 670 is the memory bandwidth (670 - 256) (660ti - 192). Otherwise the only other difference is the 670 sells for roughly $110 CAN more.

Cheers,
Dale

Wouldn't be possible for you guys to get test cards from Nvidia or one the Manufactures? I mean after all you are currently an exclusive developer for them and bring them a lot of new customers.
So many magazines get test samples of the newest cards, I'm sure you as developers should be able to get a sample of the current cards aswell.
