hello all
these are my first images with octane
I have yet to understand the materials, and the max plugin
images are made with kernel direct light.
with max plugin can not do the colors, like never?
a question..........
SSS materials only work with kernel PMC? with direct light does not work?
I hope you like the pictures ;)

N.B. sorry for my english :D :D :D

Yes, I like it. :)
The lightning is a bit cold (pic 1+2) and over exposed (pic 1).
SSS is working with PMC and Pathtracing.

Cheers, mib.

It looks like you have some shading normal problems with the chairs in the second image close to the camera. Also, your wine glasses look very dark. If you have a glass material applied, you need to use Path tracing or PMC, or if you want to stay with direct light, use a glossy material with low opacity, wont have the exact same look, but might work for you.
